Eat Local First

Right now

We live in a special place, and are committed to celebrating the bounty that is here!

Where we're at

But right now, only 3% of the food we eat here in Whatcom County is actually grown or raised in Whatcom County.

How to grow

A shift to just 10% of our food coming from local farms and producers would mean $50 million more circulating back into our local economy each year! What can you do to help? Eat local first! Buy from local producers at local grocery stores and farmers markets, and support restaurants that buy local too.
