Head out with family and friends for a chance to see, taste and explore Whatcom County’s diverse family-owned farms, on this free, self-guided tour. Find exciting educational and interactive activities at each of the 12 tour stops, meet local farmers and see how your food is grown and raised from seed to plate. Savor the flavors of our region by sampling fresh produce, cheese, apples, chocolate milk, wine and more!

By Car or Bike:
The tour is self guided, so you can go at your own pace in a car or on a bicycle. Pick and choose the locations you would like to visit or make an effort to stop at them all. Our interactive Google Map makes it easy to view each stop and travel between destinations. There will also be a guided 50 mile bike Farm Tour loop! More details below.

For a printed map with site descriptions, pick up the Farm Tour & Eat Local Month Guide available at the Community Food Co-op, Whatcom Farmers Co-op, Haggen stores, Bellingham & Whatcom County libraries and visitors centers starting in mid-August. Online copies are available here.
