Head out with family and friends for a chance to see, taste and explore Whatcom County’s diverse family-owned farms, on this free, self-guided tour. Find exciting educational and interactive activities at each of the 12 tour stops, meet local farmers and see how your food is grown and raised from seed to plate. Savor the flavors of our region by sampling fresh produce, cheese, apples, chocolate milk, wine and more!

By Car or Bike:
The tour is self guided, so you can go at your own pace in a car or on a bicycle. Pick and choose the locations you would like to visit or make an effort to stop at them all. Our interactive Google Map makes it easy to view each stop and travel between destinations. The Mt. Baker Bike Club is also organizing a guided 50 mile Farm Tour loop! More details below.
Printed Maps and Guides
For a printed map with site descriptions, pick up the Farm Tour & Eat Local Month Guide available at the Community Food Co-op, Whatcom Farmers Co-op, Haggen stores, Bellingham & Whatcom County libraries and visitors centers starting in mid-August. Online copies will be available soon.
Become a Farm Tour VIP!
The self-guided tour is free, but attendees can purchase a $10 Farm Tour VIP badge to support the Farm Tour and receive coupons and discounts on farm products at every stop. VIP badges are available can be made on the day of the Farm Tour at any of the stops.

Love to ride? The Mount Baker Bicycle Club will be organizing a guided 50 mile loop with 5 Farm Tour stops! More details coming soon.
