Shedding Light on the Subject. Solar Pays!
Energy rates continue to climb. Are we taking full advantage of the power the sun provides? Great passive solar design can dramatically reduce energy consumption and increase natural light. In addition, new state and federal incentives are making solar power incredibly cost effective. We have decided to build on the momentum created on this subject at the October 13th Green Building Conference by inviting speakers Dana Brandt and Jack Hardy to give an extended talk.
Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Coffee, local apple cider and delectable treats will be provided to make sure your stomach is as happy as your head during this great event. Call (360) 647-7093 or visit www.sconnect.org to register. Thanks to Northwest Washington AIA, continuing education hours are available for this event.
