Current Volunteer & Internship Opportunities

Event Volunteers:

One of our most common volunteer/intern opportunities is helping to plan and prep our big events. Some of these include: Business Conferences (spring/fall), Home & Landscape Tour (spring), Fall Farm Tour and Eat Local Week (summer/fall). We also have smaller Green Building tours & workshops, Farmer/Chef tours & workshops, and Sustainable Business Practices workshops throughout the year. Current Volunteer Opportunities:

We are currently looking for help with a few upcoming events: 

Imagine This! Home and Landscape Tour

Locations Vary, but most are in Bellingham.  Volunteers are responsible for greeting tour guests, stamping passports, pointing out notable aspects of the home and landscape.  Shifts available:

9:30-1:00

1:00 - 4:30

9:30-1:00

1:00 - 3:30 (must be able to bring raffle tickets to the Lightcatcher museum by 4:00)

Green PLAYhouse Celebration

We are selling raffle tickets for a green playhouse at two farmers markets and we need your help.  Volunteers will support out staff in helping to set up the playhouse and selling tickets.

We are looking for someone who is willing to edit down video footage from our events and produce short clips for us to use in advertising or recapping the event on our website.

Data Entry Assistance

We are often in need of people that can come into the office periodically to help with data entry. Specific projects include: inputting Farm Map data, updating Membership info, entering Event Attendance as well as other one time projects.
