Watershed Pledge 'quick-cert' Seminars

a workshop in Sustainable Business Practices

Janet PledgeCome meet with Sustainable Connections staff, and a small group of like-minded SC members to learn about the Watershed Pledge and how it can open your eyes to the solid waste, hazardous waste, and water pollution that may be coming out of your business – and how you can change that! This is also an excellent opportunity to RECERTIFY your existing Pledge if you have taken it in the past and would like a quick refresher. Walk away with the Watershed Pledge icon awarded to your business, ready to be printed in the next Member Directory or Coupon Book coming out soon! Applicable to large or small businesses across many industries, contact Mariah@sconnect.org with your questions.

IN JUST AN HOUR WE WILL: Real pledge plaque

  • Go through the WP checklist to see what areas of waste & pollution have the largest impact on our watershed,
  • Learn some easy techniques to reduce any negative impact of your business and it’s activities,
  • Discuss ideas and questions with other members and Sustainable Connections staff,
  • Become certified so that you walk away with a beautiful plaque to display for your employees and customers to see that you CARE and are doing everything you can to keep our waterways clean
  • Get a quick overview of other sustainable practices you could be implementing in your business – and how to get more of those cool icons!
  • AND Have a TON of fun!
