MORE INFORMATION:
Coworking is a phenomenon that happens in shared, collaborative work spaces in which the emphasis is on community (not space), relationships, and productivity. Coworking has its foundation in the freelance/self-employed realm, but has expanded to include and nurture small to moderate-sized businesses, nonprofits, remote employees, and emerging industries. Coworking is a state of mind, a community, and more importantly a revolutionary element of the larger collaborative consumption movement.
Coworking spaces serve the fast growing community of independent business professionals who come together to work, connect and collaborate to make their unique and specific contributions toward building a vibrant local economy.
Renata Kowalczyk is on a mission to create collaborative coworking spaces that create synergy and value for socially conscious entrepreneurs and remote workers. Her dream is taking shape first in Mt. Vernon before expanding to other small to mid-size cities.
Known well among her colleagues and co-collaborators as a spark plug for inspiration, making connections and collaboration, Renata is the co-founder of Coworking LLC. She also assists local businesses and organizations in creating more effective work environments and teaches business classes at WCC.
