Sign up for the 100 Mile Diet! 

The 100 Mile Diet is a commitment to eating from within a 100-mile radius of your home.  YOU decide how long to commit, YOU decide the level of your commitment, and YOU decide how involved to get.  Some people allow themselves up to 5 exceptions, for the oil, salt, spices, coffee or other things we don't produce in the Pacific Northwest that you can't live without.  Some people commit to 50% of their diets from within 100 miles.  YOU set the terms--it's not about deprivation, just a challenge (and a lot of fun & learning, too)!

Sign up below to be connected to the Bellingham 100 Mile Diet blog for recipes, tips, potluck invitations, resources, and stories, to share your own tips & stories, and to be counted in the ranks of 2007 Eat Local Week participants.

Eat Local Week is an opportunity to try it on, just for one week—to go a little further into our local foodshed than you’ve been before!
