Join us for an 'Eat and Greet' Happy Hour to kickoff the Weekly Local Restaurant Specials! Chuckanut's Chef Rob Morrell will feature local a scrumptious Locavore menu featuring Samish Bay Cheeses with Old World Deli charcuterie, Barlean's seafood, Growing Washington veggies, and housemade Mallard ice cream sandwiches. Local musician Kristi Nelson will grace the Brewery with her folky acoustic melodies starting at 8pm. With locally brewed beer, local farmers and local food, it's sure to be a festive and flavorful event!

Chokola is a spiced chocolate tea from Flying Bird Botanicals with cacao nibs, chicory root, allspice, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves, anise seed and vanilla bean. Mix that yumminess with a shot of Orca Bay Coffee Co. espresso, vanilla and half and half steamed to a velvety perfection and you’ve got a Choko-latte! The Mayan word "Chokola" means to "drink chocolate together," so bring a friend to sip with!

All locations - Hempler's ham sandwich with Tillamook cheddar cheese, Happy Valley sprouts, Garden Fresh tomatoes and red onions on Avenue's Multigrain bread, made from Fairhaven Flour and Shepherd's Grain. Avenue will also feature espresso drink specials with their usual Batdorf & Bronson Coffee, roasted in Olympia.

James St. location - Local breakfast with a diced Hempler's ham and egg scramble made with fresh dill from Herb Company and served with Garden Fresh potato hashbrowns and Avenue toast, made from Fairhaven Flour and Shepherd's Grain.

Pizzazza will reveal a surprise special featuring super fresh all-local ingredients sourced from Farmers Market farms. Some of the local ingredients Pizzazza already uses include Fresh Breeze organic dairy, Misty Meadows eggs, Skagit River Ranch meats, Hempler's meats, Moka Joe coffee, Mt. Baker red wine (in sauce) and Twin Sisters mushrooms.

If you want local fruit, Mallard Ice Cream is the place to go. Mallard buys over 5,000 lbs. of organic fruit every year for its tasty ice cream. The delicious local special this week will feature strawberries from Frog Song Farm in Mt. Vernon and mint from The Growing Garden, right here in Bellingham. Yum!
