Bellingham orgs and businesses host lunch on 'coworking'

Bellingham orgs host lunch on coworking


BELLINGHAM, WA – Local organizations and businesses are looking at a new way to share office space and resources while operating your business independently, called Coworking. The City of Bellingham, Sustainable Connections, the Technology Alliance Group (TAG) and  Coworking LLC have teamed up to hold a member and community lunch on Feb. 2 on the topic, a green, affordable, and savvy way to work.

The guest speaker Renata Kowalczyk, is the co-founder of Coworking LLC, and also assists local businesses and organizations in creating more effective work environments and teaches business classes at WCC. “I’m on a mission to create collaborative coworking spaces that create synergy and value for socially conscious entrepreneurs and remote workers,” Kowalcyzk says.

What is Coworking? Modern mobile technology and anywhere Internet means that knowledgeable people can work from any location, inspiring a global phenomenon: Coworking. People share high-speed Internet, office machinery and meeting space while networking in a flexible office environment, it's a great concept. This member lunch is open to all Sustainable Connections and TAG members, as well  and anyone else in the community that might like to learn more.

ACME Farms & Kitchen will offer a delicious local lunch for $10, starting at 11:45 a.m. ACME is a Community Supported Kitchen (CSK)/delivery service of only local & regional food. (Attendees can feel free to bring their own lunch too. Member Lunch meetings are always free).
