Bellingham native and local artist Jamus Todd-Stone passed away on June 1st, 2017 while abroad in Laos. As one of his last pieces of art, he provided the Bellingham community with an array of gorgeous blown glass planet marbles that can be seen in “The State of the Solar System” on North State Street.  This extraordinary community sculpture will continue as one small piece of the legacy that Jamus leaves behind.  As you take the 1 1/2 mile journey through the “State of the Solar System” be reminded that we are all stardust.

Donations in Jamus’ honor can be made to support this community artwork and ensure that this legacy is completed and maintained to act as a perpetual reminder of the vastness of our universe and our important place within it.

All donations will be used for maintenance and upkeep of the “State of the Solar System” sculpture. For more information about the sculpture, visit

I would like to make a donation in memory of Jamus Todd-Stone
