Code of Conduct

Sustainable Connections creates thriving communities through innovative ideas, collaboration, and action—and we aim to make all our events a better party. Please help us do this by following our Code of Conduct at events.

Expectations:

  • Be kind and considerate.
  • Respect all community members. This includes appearance, name, identity, orientation, actions, and ideas.
  • Follow the rules of the venue.
  • Follow the law.
  • Refrain from offensive language.

If you witness or are subjected to unacceptable behavior or have any other concerns, notify a Sustainable Connections staff member (or volunteer) as soon as possible. Please note that Sustainable Connections is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are nonpartisan and do not endorse political candidates. Volunteers representing Sustainable Connections are asked to refrain from promoting political candidates, petitions, or pending legislation during our events unless endorsed by the Sustainable Connections Board and organized by Staff.
