Whatcom Land Trust invites you to attend this breakfast event to celebrate business champions for land conservation, and the strong relationship between the conservation, recreation, agricultural and business communities. Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased online at whatcomlandtrust.org and by calling 360-650-9470.
This year’s focus on the intersection of a healthy business community with agricultural sustainability and land conservation honors Coldstream Farms, a family-owned and operated third generation dairy farm that has prioritized responsible agricultural stewardship in the South Fork Nooksack Valley since its inception in 1978. Our keynote speaker, Hannah Clark, Pacific Northwest Director of American Farmland Trust will talk about the state of farmland nationally, regionally and locally, and offer strategies that communities like ours can use to address growing threats to farmers, farmland, and local business.
Event proceeds benefit the Trust’s Skookum Creek Campaign and furthers it goals to preserve, protect, and engage the community in Whatcom’s special places.
