Love and Trouble is a hilarious, honest, inventive memoir that explores what happens when a happily married mom rediscovers the troublesome, wild, melancholy girl she used to be. Toggling between the teenage self and the grown-up self, Dederer attempts to reconcile her wild youth with the woman she’s become.
Claire Dederer is the author of Love and Trouble, as well as the best-selling memoir Poser: My Life in Twenty-Three Yoga Poses, which has been translated into 13 languages. She has written for The New York Times, The Atlantic, Vogue, The Nation, Slate, and many other publications. She lives on Bainbridge Island with her family.
