The WWU SBDC is excited to partner with Whatcom Community Foundation to support the Center for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (CIE) COMADRES Latinx women entrepreneur training program. COMADRES offers to help participants quickly explore business ideas and connect with resources – all to help launch participant businesses.
In eight two-hour group sessions, participants will learn how to apply business fundamentals to assess if a business idea is realistic and achievable. There will be opportunities to network with other women entrepreneurs, volunteer mentors and connections to business development resources – in the Latinx community and beyond.
The Whatcom Community Foundation will generously provide seed money to qualified participants, to help move these new businesses forward.
