Khmer classical ballet, revitalized in Long Beach by Sophiline Cheam Shapiro, is now being passed on by Khannia Ok to Cambodian-American youth, fostering a connection to their heritage and identity.
Blind Dancer

Lisa, a blind librarian, travels to Brussels to dance with Said Gharbi, Europe’s only professional blind dancer. They collaborate on a duet, culminating in a performance through the city.
From There to Here
Co-directed by Sydney Skov and Janique Robillard
Kolkata Sanved, a nonprofit in Kolkata, India, uses Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) to help survivors of abuse. DMT helps survivors reconnect with their bodies and build new paths.
