Join HAVEN Design Workshop on Wednesday, May 13th from 4-7pm for an open house featuring a recently completed addition to a historic Whatcom County log cabin.
The original structure is believed to have been built as a homesteading cabin in the mid 1800’s and features stunning old-growth timbers and traditional framing methods. HAVEN worked closely with Big Mountain Construction to preserve the structure’s historic and hand-crafted character while thoughtfully expanding it for modern living.
We welcome anyone interested in historic renovation, Whatcom County history, and architecture to join us for a tour of the home and addition and an opportunity to interface with the design and build teams.
