Join us in honoring and celebrating Juneteenth, also known as Jubilee Day, Freedom Day, marking the emancipation of people who had been enslaved in the United States, commemorated on the anniversary date of the June 19, 1865 announcement by the Union Army, proclaiming freedom from slavery in the state of Texas.
As part of the event, Waffles in Paradise will be dishing up their various menu offerings to customers at the Commercial Street Plaza in partnership with Rebel Artists of Whatcom with proceeds from sales benefitting the Black Farmers Collective in Seattle.
