Bring a camera, because the Junior Parade presented by Haggen has the cutest children, floats, pets and a variety of other sights you don’t want to miss. The Junior Parade is held on Friday, May 19 at 6:00 PM along Cornwall Avenue in Bellingham.
Anyone can be a part of this event by assembling at the beginning of the parade route (Cornwall and Kearney) from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and Junior Race teams are encouraged to participate.
In addition, the Junior Parade is looking for volunteers to carry the banners for the parade. Banner-carriers are usually middle school students. Anyone interested can contact the chamber at 360-734-1330.
The 2016 Junior Parade will be held on Friday, May 20 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The parade starts on the corner of Cornwall and Kearney Streets, continues down Cornwall and ends at Railroad and Champion Streets.
Participants may begin lining up at 4:15 p.m. Judging begins at 4:30 p.m.

- Band Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
