Join local mindfulness practitioner Tim Burnett, Executive Director of Mindfulness Northwest, for an exploration of how mindfulness practices can help us navigate the holidays with more joy and less stress. We’ll look at practices that promote awareness and well being. We will discuss the origins of mindfulness, touch on stress physiology, and explore how mindfulness practices can help us engage in our relationship to experience, reducing stress and enhancing well being. Simple practices of breathing and mindful movement will support our discussion as we explore mindfulness from the inside out and get ready for the joys and challenges of the holidays.
