Hot Damn Scandal finds its songs under park benches and in forgotten alleyways, on the corner of Tom Waits and Gershwin. The resulting outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, circus freakouts, shanty-rags, string band funk, lonesome heartbreakers, and whiskey bottle love songs blend together in what may be best described as ‘Cabaret Americana’: theatrical, orchestral, lyrical, and endlessly danceable.
The Hot Tomatoes are a collaboration between Hot House Jazz Band and Bellingham Circus Guild. They perform songs and singalongs inspired by waltzes, western swing, and notable jazz both Djanjo and hot!
