We invite you to join the 2024 Peace Builder Awards, which will uplift the incredible work happeing locally – building connections and fostering peace in our community. The Peace Builder Awards have spotlighted over 150 individuals and organizations since 2003, whose remarkable acts of community-building have strengthened our neighborhoods, schools, and Whatcom County at large. The Peace Builder Awards also serves as a core fundraising event, to support Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center’s full range of conflict prevention and intervention services for individuals, families, organizations, and businesses.
There are many ways to engage with this keystone local event:
-Sponsor the event to make the evening possible, and gain exposure to our thoughtful audience (open through Aug 2024)
-Nominate a Peace Builder (open May 1 – June 30)
-Share the Youth Peace Poetry contest with young people in your life (submission open through June 14, 2024)
-Attend the Peace Builder Awards (Oct 25, tickets go on sale Aug 2024)
