Shifting Gears, the Bellingham non-profit dedicated to empowering all women through outdoor recreation and education, is proud to announce the 2026 ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ Festival. The sixth year of Bellingham’s largest celebration of autumn and cider will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 2-7pm at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Historic Fairhaven.

The lineup of diverse ciders from across the Pacific Northwest includes Bellingham Cider Co. (Bellingham, WA), Garden Path Fermentation (Burlington, WA), Terramar Brewery (Cider – Edison, WA), Greenwood Cider Company (Seattle, WA), Offset Cider Works (Seattle, WA), and hard seltzer from Stone’s Throw Brewery (Bellingham, WA). More cideries will be announced on the Shifting Gears website in the weeks leading up to the event. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available to purchase.

Regular entry tickets are $30 and include a 4oz taster glass and eight drink tickets and a door prize ticket. VIP tickets are $50 and include a limited edition ‘Sippin’ on Cider’ 4oz taster glass, 10 drink tickets, an extra door prize ticket, and a pumpkin to paint at the event. Ticket prices will increase by $10 starting October 3rd. Active Service Members/Veterans and Students (over 21) receive a $5 discount. All proceeds from tickets, raffle and merchandise sales will support Shifting Gears programs focused on breaking down barriers that stand between all women and their outdoor aspirations.
