The workshop aims to provide an inclusive space for women to develop confidence using a variety of power and hand tools, an overview on reading architectural drawings, and experiential learning to frame a tiny home as a team. Spend three days learning and living in community with others in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade mountains, sharing farm to table meals provided by Empyrean Farm.
This Women’s Carpentry Workshop is a hands-on, beginner-friendly space designed specifically for women who want to build real skills — no experience required. Over the course of the course you’ll learn construction safety fundamentals and conventional wood framing techniques in an environment built around confidence, curiosity, and community. The world of building and construction can feel intimidating if you haven’t had previous exposure, and scary to even know where to begin. We hope to provide you with the skills to start your exploration of carpentry on your own!
