SPECIAL REBATES FOR MODERATE INCOME HOMEOWNERS
Want to improve the energy efficiency of your home but your budget is a bit tight?
Wish you could increase your comfort and decrease your energy bills?
The Community Energy Challenge is offering additional financial incentives to homeowners who qualify as moderate income for completing energy efficiency projects through the program. You may be eligible for exclusive rebates for weatherization and heating upgrades, in addition to any utility rebates! Moderate income homeowners can receive incentives averaging 45% of the cost of a weatherization project (air sealing, duct sealing, insulation). The Community Energy Challenge provides up to a $2000 incentive for upgrading to a ductless heat pump. (Incentives are subject to availability and may change at any time.) All incentives in the moderate income component require a Community Energy Challenge energy audit—provided at a discount—and income pre-qualification. You may qualify if:
• Your gross (before taxes) household income is no higher than the maximum income specified in the table below
• Your home was built prior to 1990
• The energy efficiency project is coordinated through the Community Energy Challenge
