Reward yourself with dinner at the Bistro at Shuksan—with a rotating menu of seasonal items and a beautiful view of Mount Baker. If you’re lucky enough to be there on a Friday evening, you’ll hear live music while enjoying your delicious, locally-sourced meal.

Make your way to Twin Sisters Market in Deming. This cooperative farmers market truck serves three locations: Deming (open Saturday), Kendall (open Saturday), and Bellingham’s Birchwood neighborhood (open Sunday). Discover fresh, organic produce, pasture-raised meats and eggs, honey, and ferments.  

Continue to Empyrean Farm for seasonal vegetables and seeds. Then make a refreshment stop for cider and wine at the Barmann Cellars tasting room in Maple Falls. Check the seasonal offerings at the farm stand at Kragnes Family Farms along the highway.

Begin your day at Persimmon Bistro, nestled in the Bow Sanctuary. Indulge in their delectable farm-to-table dishes or sip a beverage from their coffee and tea menu while you enjoy their beautiful gardens and serene pond.  

Continue to Samish Bay Cheese to pick up some delicious cheese. They also have a delightful shop with a variety of local products to accompany whatever cheese strikes your fancy. Down the road you’ll find Bow Hill Blueberries—for u-pick and blueberry specialty products in their darling stand.  

Make your way to Breadfarm and treat yourself to an assortment of artisanal breads and pastries – their Danishes in particular are a beloved favorite, as is their Samish Potato Bread! 

Head to Boldly Grown Farm and explore their darling farm stand full of organic vegetables, flowers, eggs, and value-added items. Then journey south to find Garden Path Fermentation for fun fermented beverages and neighboring Water Tank Bakery for wholesome breads and pastries. 

To conclude your day, head back to Terramar Brewstillery for dinner and drinks. Their pizza is made with local flour and they even have a dedicated ‘za with Bow-grown and -made toppings!
