Amphibians may appear to be a deviation from the avian theme, but hold tight while Vikki Jackson connects the dots between amphibian diversity and healthy bird ecology. Jackson is the project manager for the Whatcom County Amphibian Monitoring Program. This local non-profit is focused on researching amphibian species and their ecology in Whatcom County and works to spread the word about this intriguing and important group of critters. She will introduce the diversity of amphibian species in Whatcom County and share how amphibians and birds are interconnected on a variety of levels.
