Description:
Presentation and facilitated design process focused on the basics of food forestry, structure and guilds, perennial plant systems. Community food forestry from the Beacon Food Forest perspective, including building community engagement, volunteer input /continued involvement, organization structure, using public land and community harvest policies. Followed by on-site/outdoor session of design process including basic design parameters, evaluation & creating a plan & installation.

A Main dish will be provided, potluck items welcomed to share with group.
