Energy Club

Sustainable Connections presents Energy Club (because it’s cool to be in a club), a quick and casual meetup to give energy efficiency enthusiasts and professionals all of the tools, information, and connections they need to make steps towards energy efficiency in the workplace and the world.

Each meeting presents the opportunity to network with like-minded folks and features a local expert to guide us in a conversation of current energy topics.

Energy Club will not meet this November but instead, encourage all of our participants to attend any of the Building Decarbonization Tech Talks which take place online every Thursday from noon to 1:00 pm until December 9th.

If you missed the last Energy Club in September, you can find a recording of it HERE.

Tyler O’Farrell and Kate Hartgering from Puget Sound Energy will discuss the new Community Solar projects being installed throughout Western WA, including Bellingham. Community Solar offers PSE electric customers the opportunity to subscribe to shares of 100% local solar energy. Come hear about how PSE is partnering with local jurisdictions to serve customers with clean, reliable, and affordable power.

Mason Rolph is the founder of Olympia Community Solar, a non-profit with the mission to steward an equitable and accessible transition to clean energy. For the past three years, their team has championed legislative proposals to expand access to solar energy. We’ll learn about their proposal and plans for the upcoming legislative session. Learn more at communitysolarwa.com or by contacting info@olysol.org.

Join us before you start your workday for rotating tips and topics on the third Thursday of every other month. This networking is FREE and open to all.
