Sustainable Connections presents Energy Club (because it’s cool to be in a club), a quick and casual meetup to give energy efficiency enthusiasts and professionals all of the tools, information, and connections they need to make steps towards energy efficiency in the workplace and the world.

Each meeting presents the opportunity to network with like-minded folks and features a local expert to guide us in a conversation of current energy topics.

This month we are joined by Steve Gelb, the NW Regional Director for Emerald Cities Collaborative, to discuss strategies for making homes and businesses “electrification ready”. In order to meet our climate goals, the State Energy Plan calls for the electrification of space and water heating in virtually all of our residential and commercial buildings. Building owners are most likely to replace equipment when it fails, and budgeting and completing panel upgrades and electrical work before an emergency appliance failure will help ease the transition away from natural gas appliances.

Join us before you start your workday for rotating tips and topics on the third Thursday of every other month. This networking is FREE and open to all.
