Take a guided, educational bike tour through Ferndale’s farm-fresh food scene with Bike Northwest. We’ll follow Sustainable Connection’s Farm to Table Trail loop in Ferndale, enjoying tastings and Q&A’s with farmers and market staff at each stop. Ride is 3.5 hours long, starting at 12:30pm and ending at 4pm. Bring your own bike or ask us about bike shop rental recommendations.

Tour Details:
— Bike tour begins and ends at Appel Farms Cheese Market in Ferndale. Plenty of parking will be available.
— Farm visits include: Appel Farms, Oak Meadow Farms, Boxx Berry Farm, and Twin Sisters Creamery.
— Farmers/market staff will share their story, provide a behind-the-scenes tour of their operation and offer a tasting of their product. Enjoy fresh berries, cheese, and meat samples along the way.
— Tour is 9.3 miles one-way, or 18.6 miles round-trip. Option to finish ride at 9.3 miles and shuttle back to car at Appel Farms for an additional fee.
— Tour is appropriate for teens and adults (teens under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Babies and toddlers in bikeseats can ride along for free.
