Join the Whatcom County Historical Society as they return to in-person programs in the Rotunda Room of Old City Hall. Local author Mike Impero will talk about Bellingham Bay and British Columbia Railroad, which ran between the town of Whatcom (now Bellingham) and Sumas, to connect with the Canadian Pacific Railway for a continental connection in the late 1800s. Impero is the author of multiple local history books including Dreams of Gold: History of the Mount Baker Mining District and The Boys of Glacier.

In-person programs in the Rotunda Room of Old City Hall will have distanced seating with a maximum capacity of 50 people on a first come, first serve basis. When capacity is reached, the Museum will provide a website link to our livestreamed program for viewing offsite.
