The Travelogue series is returning to Old City Hall! In the first program of the year, Jake Strauss will discuss his visit to Lebanon. In February 2020, Jake had the good fortune of visiting Lebanon before the country’s economic meltdown. With a guide, he was able to visit many historical sites dating to Phoenician times and evolving through the centuries with subsequent conquerors. Lebanon is the only Middle Eastern country offering snow skiing in in the morning, and a swim in the Mediterranean in the afternoon. Co-presented by Bellingham Parks & Recreation.
