Wild in Nature: Lummi Island Wild

Spend a weekend experiencing the art of sustainable reefnet salmon fishing at Lummi Island. You will have a hands on experience learning about fishing practices unique to First Nations in B.C.’s Salish Sea and the impact wild salmon make on Pacific Northwest ecosystem.

We will be connecting with female leaders that are living purposeful lives to inspire creative and thoughtful lifestyles. Marika Richoz will be cooking up farm-to-table meals to nourish our bodies and Macrame worshops will be held by Emily Katz from Modern Macrame.

After a day out on the ocean, we will learn how to fillet and cook salmon to enjoy a long table dinner. Our beach bonfire side chats will feature Raincoast Conservation Foundation to learn how responsible food choices create a healthy future for our planets ecosytem.
