Stroll the streets for all the eats! Taste your way through Bellingham’s unique markets and specialty food shops and eat local, from local businesses. Samples & specials at each stop!

Your locally grown, community-owned fresh foods market since 1970, with a focus on local and organic food; in-house scratch delis; and comprehensive wellness selection. Enjoy live music starting at 11:30, samples from local vendors, and kids activities throughout the event!

Bellingham Farmers Market
1100 Railroad Ave.

With over 60 food and farm booths, the Bellingham Farmers Market is the place to fill your basket with all things local! We provide the unique opportunity to buy direct from growers and producers in this region. In addition to the freshest in seasonal produce grown in Whatcom and Skagit Counties, our vendors offer bread, pasta, chocolate, olives, sea salt, beer, jam, honey, salsa, coffee, cheese, cakes, pies….. and the list goes on! During Market Walk, our Chef in the Market booth will feature chefs Sarah Chan, of Calypso Kitchen and Cinnamon Berg, of Cosmos Bistro, demonstrating recipes highlighting the different varieties of salad greens. Recipes and samples will be provided (11am, 11:30am, 12pm). Look for the blue canopy in front of the pavilion. In addition, look for balloons throughout the Market showing you the way to samples of everything from chocolate to vodka. End your trip with a stop by the Information Booth to pick up a farm fresh (temporary) tattoo to show off your love of local food!

TERRA is Whatcom County’s organic grocer and the anchor store in the Bellingham Public Market. The Market is also home to a variety of other great local businesses, including Electric Beet Juice Co, Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine, Makizushi, Wild Whisper Café, Living Earth Herbs, Film is Truth and Mt Baker Books.

The Bagelry

The Bagelry has been serving fresh, scratch made bagels and locally roasted coffee since 1984. We offer a wide variety of house made omelets, soups, sandwiches, spreads, deli salads, and desserts. Come sample our bagels while learning about the traditional New York style methods that we use.
