Bellingham, WA – November 20, 2024 – Sustainable Connections is announcing the return of the Green Building Slam, an event that brings together green building enthusiasts from across the Pacific Northwest. Tickets are now on sale for this event, held on December 13th at 5:30 at the Wild Buffalo.

What to Expect:  

  • Dynamic Speaker Lineup: Each presenter will have just ten minutes and ten slides to showcase their green building projects, covering topics that range from solar energy to decarbonization for tribal communities. Speakers will present on topics ranging from affordable green housing to hempcrete structures, and a special presentation on thermal networks by State Representative Alex Ramel.   • Networking & Dinner: All tickets include a dinner from Bry’s Filipino Cuisine and the chance to network with builders, architects, energy experts, real estate professionals, and green building advocates from all backgrounds. 
  • Green Industry Project Highlights: Throughout the evening, videos will showcase local green building and clean energy companies’ projects. This offers a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge projects and sustainable solutions shaping the future of our communities. 

This event welcomes everyone in the community—from seasoned professionals in the green building industry to students just beginning to explore sustainable practices. The Green Building Slam offers inspiration and education on how to decarbonize our built environment and how to create a more sustainable future for all.
